The SSARPC (PreserveAshton.net) supports development in Ashton that conforms to our Master Plan. We are pro-Master Plan; not anti-development.

“Ashton is at a critical juncture in its history. What happens with this property will establish a clear trajectory for how Ashton will evolve from this point on. There is a clear choice: If you want your community to become more of a conventional suburb that consists of individual pods of privatized places, connected to fast, big roads, similar to anywhere else in the county or country, you should support the current development proposal and roadway plans; if you want Ashton to grow into more of an authentic village or town that will become more than the sum of its parts, you should passionately support the alternative vision that Preserve Ashton has been working so tirelessly to make a reality. I will show and explain what is wrong with the current plan and how it must change in order to become an enduring win-win for everyone, especially Ashton residents.” Stu Sirota

SSARPC – PreserveAshton.net and Stu Sirota - Town Planner form TND Planners invites you to review exciting alternative plans for Ashton on Thursday, June 22nd at the Sandy Spring Ashton Meeting House at 7PM.
